As others have noted, these conventions are a great opportunity to get some older classic games to the table that can play a little longer than games that are currently in vogue.
Last year, we were able to play a game of Advanced Civilization (we didn't play to the bitter end, as JC clearly had a stranglehold on victory as we approached the home stretch of the AST).
This year, I hope to host another old favourite, Avalon Hill Dune. The playing time of Dune can be a little unpredictable, depending upon alliances and other factors, but with a full complement of players usually lasts between 3 and 4 hours.
Please post to this thread if you'd be interested in playing.

I would love to play Dune at the Con. Maybe even 2 or more games. A great game!

I'm up for Dune as long as you are willing to teach. I booked Friday off work this year so I can start the first day.

For those interested in playing Dune, unlike some other old Avalon Hill titles, the rules of Dune are actually quite short (4 pages for the basic game). It's the strategy/tactics (and alliance making) aspects of the game that can sometimes lengthen the game. On the other hand, those same aspects are what makes it so enjoyable! Here is a link to the rules: boardgamegeek.com/filepage/84331/dune-rulebook

I am looking for a LolaHemp Review as I am incredibly keen to take up several brand-new CBD products on my on-line CBD shop(https://cbdoileco.com). I managed to identify some good reviews on cbdcrowdfunder.com but it is not quite what I am looking for. If anyone is interested in partnering up with me on starting a brand new CBD online shop in the UK, please let me know. Thanks
